Effect of Liquid Organic Foliar Spray on Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) under Rainfed Condition

چکیده
Aims: Foliar nutrition is aimed to eliminate the problems of fixation and immobilization nutrients. Hence, foliar being recognized as a significant way fertilizing modern agriculture, especially under rainfed conditions. Liquid organic manures are concoctions micro macronutrients that also contain vitamins, amino acids, growth-promoting substances, beneficial microbes.
Study Design: The experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications.
Place Duration Study: A field conducted medium black soils at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Vijayapur, during Rabi, 2020-21.
Methodology: There were fifteen treatment combinations, consisting five sources (vermiwash @ 10%, cowurine jeevamrutha 25%, bio digester filtrate 25% urea 2%) main plots stage application (pre flowering, pod initiation pre flowering + initiation) sub for JG-11 variety chickpea.
Results: both stages recorded significantly greater dry matter accumulation leaves, stem reproductive parts, higher SPAD values, number pods plant-1 (46.5), grain weight (9.45 g), harvest index (2198 kg ha-1). Soil dehydrogenase activity, protein content yield parameters showed values same along major nutrient uptake. reduction observation pest load chickpeas development noticed by treatment.
Conclusion: liquid manures, either or cow urine 10% pre-flowering helped increase growth, growth attributes like accumulation, attributes, content, uptake chickpea.

GENETIC DIVERGENCE IN CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)
Genetic diversity of 27 chickpea genotypes was studied through Mahalanobis D and Principal Component analysis. The genotypes under study fall into five clusters. The cluster II contained the highest number of genotypes (11) and Cluster I contained the lowest. Cluster I produced the highest mean value for number of pods per plant. The inter cluster distances were much higher than the intra clust...
